<br />Councilmember Stewart introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #25-021 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR 2025 PAVEMENT REJUVENATION <br />IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #25-10 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey can most cost-effectively maximize the life of the <br />bituminous pavement on public streets by applying pavement rejuvenators; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey adopted budget for 2025 includes $600,000.00 for street <br />maintenance contracted services, including to apply pavement rejuvenator on numerous public <br />street segments in support of the City’s Pavement Management Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-344, adopted November <br />26, 2024 the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for 2025 <br />Pavement Rejuvenation Improvements Improvement Project #25-10; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the purpose of <br />advertising for bids for 2025 Pavement Rejuvenation Improvements, Improvement Project #25- <br />10. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves plans and specifications prepared by the City <br />Engineer and authorizes advertisement for bids for said improvements as City <br />Improvement Project #25-10, 2025 Pavement Rejuvenation Improvements. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
