City Council Highlights - January 14 Presentation The regular City Council meeting began with a Swearing - in Ceremony for Mayor Ryan Heineman, Councilmember At -Large Kirsten Buscher, Ward 2 Councilmember Eric Peters and Ward 4 Councilmember Shanna Stewart. Consent Agenda There were 20 items on the Consent Agenda. The motion passed with a unanimous vote. Council Business The first item was to Adopt Resolution #25-006 Approving Purchase Agreement and Right of Re -Entry Agreement for the Sale of Part of Outlot D, Waterfront Village: Case of Capital Real Estate, Inc. The purchase agreement is to develop approximately 3.17 acres, including a Chipode restaurant on the corner and other retail/quick service restaurants for the rest of the site. The developer has indicated that they have a letter of intent for another QSR and coffee user for the parcel just north of Chipotle and are hoping to build them all at the same time in 2025. Council approved the resolution for the purchase k . . ,. �. I . and Right of Re -Entry Agreement. The second case was to Adopt Resolution #25-003 Approving the Preliminary Plat for Emerald Estates, a Single -Family Residential Development Located on 181st Avenue, West of Xenolith Street (Project No. 24-123); Case of Landform Professional Services, LLC. The proposed project is for thl-family residential lots along 181st Avenue, west of Xenolith Street. A private well and septic system will serve each lot, and each lot will have direct access to 181st Avenue. The EPB recommended approval of this project subject to staff comments. By a four -to -one vote, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the preliminary plat, contingent upon compliance with the staff's review comments. The resolution approving the preliminary plat was adopted with a vote of five to two.
