You can sign up at
the City's website or at the Planning
Division at the Ramsey Municipal
Center.
Fun fact: one-third of Minnesota's
garbage is made up of organics. Why
should households recycle organics?
Organics recycling helps reduce
methane -producing bacteria in landfills. Organic
recycling also benefits the economy by creating jobs
and revenue and producing a finished compost
product. Using finished compost can minimize soil
erosion and the reliance upon chemical fertilizers
while increasing soil nutrients, crop production, and
water retention.
For more information on this program, please
visit www.cityoframsey.com /578/Organics-
Recycling, contact Senior Planner Chris Anderson at
Anderson@cityoframsey.com, or call 763-433-9817.
City Council Highlights - January 28
Presentation
The regular City Council meeting began with a Swearing -in
Ceremony for Mayor Ryan Heineman, Councilmember At -
Large Kirsten Buscher, Ward 2 Councilmember Eric Peters and
Ward 4 Councilmember Shanna Stewart.
Consent Agenda
There were three business items on the agenda for this
meeting.
The first case was to Adopt Resolution #25-018 Accepting
Bids and Awarding Contract for Fox Ridge Estates 1st & 2nd
Street Reconstructions, Improvement Project #24-13.
