Total sign area may not exceed 15 percent of the front building facade. <br />Businesses in multitenant buildings shah be allowed the proportionate share of the total wall sign area. <br />The total wall sigrtage permitted may be distributed on any other building facade Sign height shall not <br />exceed the top of the parapet wall or. if no parapet wall. sign height shall not exceed the height of the <br />eaves A wall. canopy or marquee sign may be located on the outermost wall of any principal building <br />but shall not project more than 16 inches from the wall to which the sign Is to be affixed. The gross <br />surface area of a wall. canopy or marquee sign may be increased by ten percent if such wall sign: <br />a. Consists only of individual, outlined alphabetic, numeric and/or symbolic characters without <br />background except that prodded by the building surface to which the sign is to he affixed, and <br />b. Illumination, Warty. is achieved through shielded Illumination, shielded silhouette lighting, or <br />shielded spot lighting but not any lighting where the light source Is visible or exposed on the face or <br />sides of the characters. <br />COR Framework <br />Wall Signs <br />Wall signs are permitted within all [OR sub -districts. <br />Wall signs shall he permitted on one (1) wall, except that lots with frontage an more than one (1) street <br />may have stgnage on one (1) wal per street frontage. <br />Within the [ORO, [OR3, COR4 and [ORS districts, the following standards apply <br />A wall -mounted or painted signs, provided the following standards are met: <br />1_ The sign shall be affixed to the front facade of the building, and shall protect outward <br />from the wall to which It Is attached no more than six Inches (6"). <br />2. Single Tenant Buildings Each building shall he allowed one Ill wall sign per street <br />frontage. S€gnege must be located on the street elevation. The area of the sign shall <br />not exceed fifteen (15%) percent of the ground floor building facade area.
