<br />Note 13. RESERVES AND DESIGNATED FUND EQUITY (Continued)
<br />Working capital designation for $1,398,247 provides for cash flow needs
<br />based on an amount equal to 50% of the General Fund budgeted
<br />expenditures for the upcoming year less amounts reserved for prepaid
<br />expenses.
<br />Debt Service Funds -
<br />Debt service designation for $3,838,922 is designated for future
<br />payment of principal and interest on general obligation long -term debt.

<br />The City maintains Sewer and Water, and Street Light Enterprise Funds. A
<br />schedule of changes in contributed capital during 1993 is as follows:
