Density and traffic are sure to warrant that pedestrians have a
safe east/west route south of Highway #10. In addition, connection to the City of Anoka's
Cutter's Grove Park may be possible off Rivlyn Avenue. The segment east of Dolomite will need
to serve as the Mississippi Riyer trail, and thus may be eligible for funding assistance.

Boulevard trees for Riverdale are proposed as a TIF project and is directly related to the
premise described above. A $10,000 expenditure would fund about 50 trees.

Mississippi River Trail Corridor
Riverdale Drive Trail

fiaJ: Fundin~
1998 $ 30,000 - Park Trust
2000 $ 25,000 - MSA
2000 $ 10,000 - TIF
$ 65,000

Proiect - Mississippi

Riverdale Drive Boulevard Trees

P-9 - The Prairie District

The on-road "B" along Sunwood Drive will occur at the time of road construction. The trail
will be funded as part of the project $13,500 is shown here because the walkway relates to
recreation access.

Proiect - Prairie

~ Fundint:

Sunwood Drive Trail

1998 $ 13,500 - MSA

$ 13,500

P-IO - Miscellaneous Park Improvements

Community Park and Trail Improvements could involve Alpine, Central, Lake Itasca, or
River's Bend Park. Emphasis (depending on turn of the century priorities) may be for the first
stage development on the Trott Brook Trail system or acquisitions. An $80,000 expenditure is
proposed from the Landfill Trust Fund in both 2000 and 2001.

Miscellaneous ~ev~nues are designated each year from the Lawful Gambling fund toward
improvement conducted with outside matching money or for smaller improvements meeting
previously unidentified resident park needs. .

-381-
