We're Hiring! <br />Two (2) Police Officers <br />Salary: $37.786 - $48.443 Hourly <br />Closing Date: Open Until Filed <br />The primary objectives of this position: to maintain <br />order, keeping the peace and responding to citizen's needs <br />by discouraging crimes through high -visibility policing, <br />investigative capability and the subsequent reporting and <br />apprehension of suspected violators of the law. The position <br />reports to the Police Sergeant. <br />Successful applicants must have at least an Associate's <br />degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement or equivalent <br />qualifications meeting the state of Minnesota's requirements <br />to become an Officer. <br />The 2025 salary range for this position is: $37.786/hour <br />to $48.443/hour. <br />The 2025 longevity range for this position is: After 5: <br />$49.412/hour - After 8: $50.381/hour - After 12: $51.350/ <br />hour - After 16: $52.318/hour. <br />This is a full-time LELS Patrol union position. <br />Part-time Police Technician <br />Salary: $28.79 - $31.67 Hourly <br />Closing Date: February 23, 2025 <br />The primary objectives of this position: to perform <br />various technical and specialized functions and <br />administrative tasks in support of the Police Department. <br />This role involves providing customer service support and <br />exercising discretion while building relationships with <br />community members, residents and City staff. A high <br />degree of tact, courtesy, confidentiality and sound judgment <br />is essential. Additionally, the position requires substantial <br />knowledge of state statutes, offense codes, City ordinances <br />and department policies. <br />Other duties include, but are not limited to, entering, <br />maintaining, retrieving and compiling factual information <br />through numerous computerized systems and disseminating <br />this information to authorized agencies and persons. <br />This position will also monitor compliance by applying <br />knowledge of data privacy practice requirements, respond <br />to the public who will make telephone or in -person contact <br />and classify crimes pursuant to applicable state and federal <br />reporting systems. The position reports to the Police <br />Department Office Supervisor. <br />Hiring Range -- $28.795 to $31.674 per hour, depending <br />on qualifications. The full 2025 Salary Range: Step 1 <br />$28.795 — Step 2 $30.235 — Step 3 $31.674 — Step 4 <br />$33.114 — Step 5 $34.554 — Step 6 $35.993/hour — This is <br />a part-time AFSCME union position working 25 hours per <br />week. There is flexibility within the Monday through Friday <br />11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. schedule, subject to supervisor <br />approval. <br />CITY OF RAMSEY City UPDATE February 14, 2025 <br />Building Maintenance Worker <br />Salary: $26.615 - $29.276 Hourly <br />Closing Date: March 2, 2025 <br />The primary objective of this position: to assist in <br />maintaining City facilities including, but not limited to <br />buildings, offices, meeting rooms, HVAC equipment and <br />grounds of the Ramsey Municipal Center, Fire Stations, <br />City Parks, Public Works Facility and the Municipal Parking <br />Ramp. The position reports to the Building Maintenance <br />Supervisor. <br />This is a full-time AFSCME Union position working 40 <br />hours a week. Monday through Thursday working from 1:30 <br />p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. <br />This position requires flexibility within the normal schedule <br />in order to provide coverage for elections/voting, snow <br />removal activities, or other tasks as needed. <br />The 2025 hiring range is: Step 1: $26.615 to Step 3: <br />$29.276/hour depending on qualifications. <br />The 2025 wage scale is: Step 1 $26.615 - Step 2 $27.945 <br />- Step 3 $29.276 - Step 4 $30.607 - Step 5 $31.938 - Step 6 <br />$33.268/hour depending on qualifications. <br />Benefits begin day 1!
