SECTION 2. AMENDMENT <br /> <br />The following Sections/subsections are amended as provided below: <br /> <br />2.03.01 "Establishment," <br />2.03.02 "Appointment of Members, Terms of Office and Removal" <br />2.03.03 "Organization, Meetings, Etc." <br />2.03.06 "Duties, Responsibilities and Objectives" <br />2.04 "The Board of Building Appeals" <br /> <br /> 2.03.01 Establishment. Subdivision 1. Boards and Commissions is <br />amended by deletion of the terms "Economic Development Commission" and "Board of <br />Building Appeals." <br /> <br /> 2.03.02 Appointment of Members, Terms of Office and Removal is amended <br />by an amendment to Subdivision 1 and the addition of Subd. 7. as follows: <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Nine Voting Members and Residence <br />Requirement. Membership of various boards and commissions shall not exceed <br />nine members; at least two-thirds of which shall be residents of the City of <br />Ramsey. Members shall represent a broad range of interest in functions of the <br />City. <br /> <br />Subd. 7. Removal. <br /> <br />Code of Conduct: It is the policy of the City of Ramsey to maintain a <br />respectful public service environment free from violence, discrimination, <br />unlawful activities relating specifically to the Boards or Commission <br />members role with the City, and other offensive or degrading remarks or <br />conduct. A3~y Board or Commission member found to have acted in <br />violation of this policy shall be subject to appropriate disciplinary action, <br />which may include dismissal from the Board or Commission. <br /> <br />1. Expected Conduct of Board and Commission Members in General <br /> <br />Board and Commission members shall conduct themselves at all times <br />in such a manner as to reflect most favorably on the City. Conduct <br />unbecoming a Board or Commission member shall include any <br />conduct that tends to bring the City into disrepute or reflects discredit <br />on the person as a Board or Commission member of the City, or that <br />which tends to impair the functioning of a Board or Commission <br />member. <br /> <br /> <br />
