Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #25-042 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR HIGH POINT STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #25-05 WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the High Point Subdivision as identified within the 2025 —2034 Capital Improvement Program; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 424-138, adopted May 28, 2024, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Hakanson Anderson for topographic survey of the project area in the amount of$7,650.00; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 424-220, adopted August 12, 2024, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, Inc., for a geotechnical report of the project area in the amount of$8,880.00; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 424-340, adopted November 26, 2024, the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for High Point Street Reconstructions, Improvement Project 425-05; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the purpose of advertising for bids for High Point Reconstructions, Improvement Project 425.05. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer and authorizes advertisement for bids for said improvements as City Improvement Project 425-05, High Point Street Reconstructions. The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Peters, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Heineman Councilmember Riley Councilmember Peters Councilmember Buscher Councilmember Specht and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None
