Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION#25-043 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR SORTEBERG'S STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT#25-06 WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Sorteberg's Subdivision as identified within the 2025—2034 Capital Improvement Plan; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 924-138, adopted May 28, 2024, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Hakanson Anderson for topographic survey of the project area in the amount of$2,560.00; and WHEREAS,pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 924-220, adopted August 12, 2024,the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, Inc. for a geotechnical report of the project area in the amount of$4,140.00; and WHEREAS,pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 924-341, adopted November 26, 2024, the City Council order the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for Sorteberg's Street Reconstructions, Improvement Project 925-06; and WHEREAS,the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the purpose of advertising for bids for Sorteberg's Street Reconstructions, Improvement Project 925-06. NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY,ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer and authorizes advertisement for bids for said improvements as City Improvement Project 925-06, Sorteberg's Street Reconstructions. The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Peters, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Heineman Councilmember Riley Councilmember Peters Councilmember Buscher Councilmember Specht and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None
