Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption. <br />RESOLUTION #23-023 <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING THE FLINTWOOD TERRACE BOARDWALK SURPLUS <br />PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING DISPOSAL <br />WHEREAS, the boardwalk at Flintwood Terrace Park is no longer in usable condition and <br />not repairable and may be considered a hazard; and <br />WHEREAS, on January 12th, 2023 the Park and Recreation Commission recommended <br />the boardwalk's removal without replacement; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />That, the existing boardwalk within Flintwood Terrace Park be declared surplus property and that <br />staff is hereby directed to dispose of it in the most fiscally responsible manner possible. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 24th day of January, 2023. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />Mayor <br />RESOLUTION #23-023 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
