• Commissioner Von Scoy asked if the final plat for minor or major subdivisions were brought <br /> back to the Planning Commission. <br /> Principal Planner Trudgeon noted the final plat was not brought back to the Planning <br /> Commission but was approved by Council and signed by the Mayor and City Clerk. <br /> Vice Chairperson Reeve questioned the review of variances within the subdivision portion of the <br /> Ordinance. <br /> Mr. Gordon stated he would review this section and bring it back at the next meeting. <br /> Commissioner Brauer noted multi-family developments have been popular as of late and stated <br /> he feels the economics behind this drives more multi-family developments than single-family <br /> homes. He suggested raising the multi-family park dedication requirements a couple percent to <br /> create more recreational opportunities in the community. <br /> Principal Planner Trudgeon suggested this be increased from 12% to 15% of land to be dedicated <br /> for 3.l-5 units per acre. <br /> The Planning Commission agreed. <br /> Vice Chairperson Reeve noted the Ordinance would be revised per the above comments and the <br /> • first public hearing would be held on April 3, 2003. <br /> Case#4: Review Commissioner Interview Questions <br /> F <br /> Associate Planner Wald noted a copy of questions utilized when interviewing applicants for the <br /> III Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment. In accordance with a request from City <br /> Council, Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson has requested that the Planning Commission <br /> review the enclosed interview questions. The City Council is interested in determining more <br /> appropriate and commission specific questions asked when interviewing for the Planning <br /> Commission. She asked the Commissioners to forward comments and/or suggestions to City <br /> Staff via email or fax.
