5. 1. <br />Environmental Policy Board (EPB) <br />Meeting Date: 03/17/2025 <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Appoint Chair and Vice Chairperson <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Each year, Commissions and Boards appoint officers. Currently, Ms. Melissa Fetterley serves as Chairperson and <br />Ms. Laura Moore serves as Vice Chair. The current chair and vice chair appointments are valid through the end <br />of March. The new appointments will go into effect on April 1, 2025, and will run through March 31, 2026. <br />On February 14, 2023, the City Council adopted a new policy related to serving as Chair of any Board or <br />Commission. The City Council expressed a desire to offer members an opportunity to grow their experience <br />while serving on a Board or Commission and therefore, effective April 1, 2023, a member may only serve a <br />maximum of two (2)consecutive terms as Chair. After that, a new member is to be appointed as Chair.
