Councilmember Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #06-08-260 RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO.3 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 02-34, RAMSEY MUNICIPAL PARKING FACILITY WHEREAS, the Facilities Committee has authority to approve change orders in excess of$10,000 and less than $25,000 with City Council ratification; and WHEREAS, the City Administrator and Assistant Public Works Director have the authority to approve change orders of up to $10,000 with City Council ratification; and WHEREAS, the approved Contract allows for a 2% construction contingency of$145,000; and WHEREAS, Change Order No.1 was approved by the City Council on October 11, 2005; and WHEREAS, Change Order No.2 was approved by the City Council on May 23,2006; and WHEREAS, the following change orders have been requested and approved by the City Administrator and Public Works Director and need City Council ratification; 1. Finish modifications - $7,025 2. Alternate mounting of Stair D Light fixtures - $728 3. Generator Fence - $2,676 4. Window Mullions - $3,838 5. Caulking at horizontal Precast Caps - $2,123 6. Adding cages to fire alarm devices - $839 7. Electrical Work for Security system - $931 8. Concrete under stairs - $7,806 9. Working platform for elevators - $1,990 10. Security Contract over allowance - $447 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. The above mentioned change orders have been approved.
