<br />Councilmember Strommen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-09~285 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO.1 <br />FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 05-29, <br />TH 47 PEDESTRIAN UNDERPASS AND BITUMINOUS TRAIL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Administrator and Director of Public Works have the authority to approve <br />change orders of up to $10,000 with City Council ratification; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, impact attenuators are required for the project but were not included within the <br />original scope of work; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Change Order No 1 increasing the contract with Landwehr Construction Inc. in <br />the amount of $9,858.42 has been requested and approved by the City Administrator and Public <br />Works Director and needs City Council ratification. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That Change Order No 1 with Landwehr Construction Inc. in the amount of$9,858.42 is <br />hereby approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Pearson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Olson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06~09-285 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
