I <br />am as concerned as anyone .~o~t this pro~lem. r live only <br />1/2 mile from the proposed fatility. One particular <br />question concerned the environmental wor~sheets etc. After <br />the meet. i nq, I 1 ec~rned 'chat these are an i ntegraJ. part of <br />the permit process and would ~e don. before any permit could <br />be given. I do not think this was made clear. It sounded <br />as though these pC!tpers had not. ~een ordy:.redand that they <br />might now be done because the public asked for it at the <br />mef=~t i nq. <br /> <br />These are some of my own cCncerns on this issue. I am very <br />concerned about. our trash pro!?l em asa whole nati, on .:tnd as <br />an i nter"nati c::mcd. concern. 1 woul d I ikE'! .to al ways hCitVf-", <br />somebody else take the responsibility fbr the waste I <br />generat.e, but that is not POSSible. I am t.ired of having <br />people be lik~ ostrich with their heads in the sand who <br />thi nk t.t"Ic:,t somehow trH? pro~lem wi 11 be ti:d(Em care of and <br />that we don't have to be i~~olved.
