<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-02-041 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF $77,000 FROM 2005 GENERAL FUND <br />BUDGET TO THE ADOPTED 2006 GENERAL FUND BUDGET FOR THE <br />AUTHORIZED PURCHASE OF ELECTION EQUIPMENT, BACK UP POWER UNIT <br />AND CONFINED SPACE EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, included in the 2005 Adopted General Fund Budget was $77,000 for the <br />purchase of election equipment, back-up power unit and confined space equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at year end, 2005, the City had not received the election equipment, power <br />unit or confined space equipment or made any partial payment towards; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, $77,000 was subtracted and encumbered from the 2005 General Fund <br />Budget and needs to be added to the Adopted 2006 General Fund Budget to cover required <br />expenditures in 2006. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, that the City Council hereby <br />directs the Finance Officer to increase its Adopted 2006 General Fund Budget by $77,000. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Pearson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />
