Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #06- 10 -XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING 2 AND FINAL PAYMENT TO GREYSTONE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR PROJECT 04- BLDG -0005 SALT SAND STORAGE BUILDING AT THE PUBLIC WORKS CAMPUS WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #05- 12-418 on December 13, 2005 adopting the City of Ramsey's 2006 -2010 Capital Improvement Program with a project entitled "Project 04- BLDG - 0005" authorized the preparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, on July 25 2006, the Ramsey City Council passed resolution #06- 07 -xxx awarding the contract for Project 04 -BLDG -0005 Salt Sand Storage Building at the Public Works Campus; and WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends payment to Greystone Construction Company in the amount of $126,350.00. WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends payment to Greystone Construction Company in the amount of $6,650.00. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MLNNESOTA: 1). That the City Council are hereby authorizes partial payment to Greystone Construction Company for the construction of the salt sand storage building in the amount of $6,650.00. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of October 24, 2006. That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: RESOLUTION #06- 10 -XXX Page 1 of 2 C,..Io -97-
