Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #06- 10 -XXX <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 2 AND FINAL PAYMENT TO GREYSTONE <br />CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR PROJECT 04- BLDG -0005 SALT SAND STORAGE <br />BUILDING AT THE PUBLIC WORKS CAMPUS <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #05- 12-418 on December 13, <br />2005 adopting the City of Ramsey's 2006 -2010 Capital Improvement Program with a project <br />entitled "Project 04- BLDG - 0005" authorized the preparation of plans and specifications for the <br />above referenced work; and <br />WHEREAS, on July 25 2006, the Ramsey City Council passed resolution #06- 07 -xxx <br />awarding the contract for Project 04 -BLDG -0005 Salt Sand Storage Building at the Public Works <br />Campus; and <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the <br />completed work and recommends payment to Greystone Construction Company in the amount of <br />$126,350.00. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the <br />completed work and recommends payment to Greystone Construction Company in the amount of <br />$6,650.00. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MLNNESOTA: <br />1). That the City Council are hereby authorizes partial payment to Greystone Construction <br />Company for the construction of the salt sand storage building in the amount of <br />$6,650.00. <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of October 24, 2006. <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />RESOLUTION #06- 10 -XXX <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />C,..Io <br />-97- <br />
