Commissioner Hunt stated he agrees there is potential for an occasional traffic jam, but
with the type of business that is planned to utilize this development that will be the
exception rather than the rule. There is enough parking space to provide other areas for
parking off of the street if someone needs to park for any length of time, and there was
the suggestion of creating additional parking in an outlot. He asked if there are options
for the developer to control any problems with tenants blocking the street, such as
through the association.
Mr. Ness replied he is working with a development company that specializes in putting
together associations, and.has asked them to put together bylaws. If he has control over
selling these units he will not sell them to someone that had a problem in the past with a
bunch of vehicles. These units are not for businesses with a bunch of vehicles, they are
for the mom and pop shops to help them grow.
Commissioner Cleveland suggested expanding the greenspace near the railroad tracks.
'METN.Rit;7' .6 .tea '7,11;k7., 4e H - .
Mr.. =Campbell indicated the design can be amended to include another two feet in with
on the road.
Chairperso
regruremei
r
s expansion wouldat least camplq wttlx ie 2.8 fOot width
Associate Planner Dalnes indicated it should be derstood the site w still need;to

comply with the landscaping req uirements'
Mr. W alz noted it had been stated they would be allowed to put some landscaping in the
easement area.
Chairperson Nixtncomnentecl- ' this" wilr will 15 e'i'faitr bituminous laden ditaf,TStaff
had recommended tabling this due to the septic system, which has been discussed as
being approved with contingencies.
