Join us for a macrame plant hanger <br />workshop! Our instructor will guide you step-by-step through the basics of macrame. You'll have a variety of <br />design options, colors, and beads to customize your hanger. <br />• Date: Tu., Oct. 22, 6:30 — 8:30 p.m. at the Public Works building <br />• Cost: $10/person. Pre -registration required. <br />• Ages: 13+, youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. <br />• Registration: Pre -registration required, registration is open until full. <br />Pumpkin Chuck <br />Get ready for a smashing good time at our first -ever Pumpkin Chuck! Bring your Halloween pumpkins to launch <br />from slingshots or smash in the field. Enjoy hot cider and yard games with friends and family, weather permitting. <br />The Ramsey Fire Department will be there to help smash pumpkins and share holiday fire safety tips. Feeling <br />creative? Build and bring your own pumpkin launcher! Participation is at your own risk. <br />• Date: Sa., Nov. 2, 11 a.m. — 1 p.m. at Elmcrest Park <br />• Cost: Free <br />Puzzle Competition <br />Join us for a family -friendly speed puzzling competition, where teams of up to four will race to complete a <br />500-piece puzzle in two hours or less featuring a scene from Ramsey's 2023 Photo Contest. All teams can take <br />their puzzle home, and the winning teams will receive a prize. <br />• Date: Sa., Nov. 16, 10 a.m. — 12 p.m. at City Hall <br />• Cost: $40/team <br />• Registration: Pre -register by Wednesday, Nov. 6 to guarantee your space. <br />Day Trip: Tundra Swan Migration Tour <br />Join us for a guided bird -watching tour along the Mississippi River Valley, one of the Midwest's top migratory <br />paths, to witness thousands of tundra swans and other species. After exploring with expert Jim Nissen, we'll enjoy <br />lunch at the Blue Moon Restaurant and visit the Onalaska Upper Mississippi River National Fish and Wildlife <br />Refuge Visitor Center for more insights and interactive exhibits. Pick up and drop off will be at City Hall. <br />• Date: Tu., Nov. 19, 7:45 a.m. — 6:45 p.m. <br />• Cost: $108/person, includes round-trip transportation, light breakfast pastries, lunch, and guided swan <br />migration tour. <br />• Ages: 55+ <br />• Registration: Pre -register by Friday, October 18. <br />
