5. 1. <br />Park and Recreation Commission <br />Meeting Date: 08/08/2024 <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Connect the community through Parks, Trails and Recreational Programming <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Consider Adding Play Equipment Component for Woodland Green Park <br />Purpose/Background: <br />A popular play equipment item known as a Comet II Spinning Orb has been requested by a couple of residents of <br />the Woodland Green neighborhood, and is depicted in the attachment. <br />Time Frame/Observations/Alternatives: <br />Observations <br />The Accessible Comet II Spinning Orb is estimated to cost $2,327 and with freight ($233) and installation <br />(>$480), may be less than $4,000.
