Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #10: Recommendation TO Retain Risk Management Consultant Services <br />For 1988/89 Insurance Acquisition: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley recalled that in 1987, the Council indicated a desire to <br />consider bidding both agent of record and insurance proviceder services for <br />the 1988/89 coverage year. Finance Officer Graczyk has recommended that <br />the City retain the services of Andrew Whitman of Risk Management <br />Incorporated to advise the City in this process. <br /> <br />Councilmernber Cox expressed concern with risk management consultants <br />promoting certain insurance companies. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that the agreement entered into will have a non- <br />collusion clause. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmernber Cox to <br />authorize City Staff to retain the services of Risk Management <br />Incorporated. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case *11: AOol't Ordinance To Regulate Diseased Tree Control: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartl ey recalled that at it's last meeting, City Council introduced the <br />diseased tree control ordinance. Mr. Hartley proceeded to review that <br />ordinance with Council in detail. The cost to the City to enforce the <br />ordi:lance would be that of inspections by the Tree Inspector in the City's <br />disease control area, an area which is not designated in this proposed <br />ordinance.
