<br />~ ..." r <br /> <br />Case #21: Adoption Of Ordinafi~eRe~ardiIi~ Park Dedication: <br /> <br />Councilmember Sorteberg expressed concern that the proposed increase to <br />cash requirements is high. <br /> <br />Mr. Roy Shumway stated that even with the increase, Ramsey's requirements <br />are less than that of surrounding communities. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />adopt Ordinance #88-4 amending park dedication requirements. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mayor Reimann stated that he feels the proposed <br />amendment creates a more equitable situation for park dedication. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmembers Sorteberg. <br />Councilmember Cox. <br /> <br />Case #22: Request For Renewal Of On-Sale/Sunday Liquor License For <br />Jimmy B's American Cafe For 1988: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to <br />approve the renewal of the On-Sale/Sunday Liquor License for Jimmy B's <br />American Cafe contingent upon the City receiving all necessary <br />documentation. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Cox. <br /> <br />Case #23: Lon~ Ran~e Plannin~: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley requested that Council set a date for a workshop to do some <br />long range planning for Ramsey utilizing the services of a facilitator. <br />Mayor Reimann supported Mr. Hartley's recommendation. <br /> <br />Council consensus was to direct Mr. Hartley to begin to coordinate the <br />scheduling of a one-day workshop utilizing the services of a facilitator. <br /> <br />Case #24: Schedule Special Meetin~: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley requested a special meeting to discuss the proposed amendment <br />to the Comprehensive Plan and the Altron ~ax increment project. <br /> <br />Council consensus was to schedule a special meeting for June 21, 1988 at <br />5:00 p.m. at Ramsey Municipal Center. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />a) Report on joint meeting with Park and Recreation Commission <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann thanked the Park Commission for meeting with City Council on <br />June 9 and expressed the desire to hold more of these meetings in the <br />City Council/June 14, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 13 of 14 <br /> <br />~ <br />
