Absent: Councilmember Cox. <br /> <br />Case #17: Discuss The Addition Of An Irrigation System At River's Bend <br />!'.a.1:k.:. <br /> <br />Mr. Otto stated that the dry weather has prohibited even putting down a <br />temporary seed cover in the River's Bend Park improvement project. As a <br />result of that, some preliminary cost estimates indicate that an irrigation <br />system could be installed at River's Bend Park for approximately $18,000- <br />$20,000. <br /> <br />Councilmembers Sorteberg and Pearson noted that the soil type at River's <br />Bend Park would not require irrigation during a normal growing season. <br /> <br />Councilmember Sorteberg requested that City Staff prepare a report <br />indicating all current park improvements and funding sources. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Pearson <br />denying the installation of an irrigation system at River's Bend Park. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
