Ramsey needs to disasscx::iate itself from abuttincr communities. An <br />individualistic ~~eme should be incorporated into its community <br />marketing and promotional materials. <br /> <br />2. Strip commercial properties should be unified and ma.intained. strict <br />enforcement of the zoni.rB ccrle will be instrumental in achieving this <br />unity. <br /> <br />3. Intectrated landscapincr. liqhtino and sionino will further bring about <br />unity of strip cornrnercial properties. Starrlards and ordinances for <br />such should be adopted, ilnplemented and enforced. <br /> <br />4. Additional TH 10 informational sicminq should be developed for <br />amenities arrl public facilities. SUch signs could identify city hall, <br />area schools, park arrl open space, irrlustrial parks am the airport. <br /> <br />'5. '!he community's natural amenities should be ert1Phasizerl. Its position <br />in relation to the Rum River arrl the Mississippi River should be <br />accentuated.
