Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #12: Petition For Public Inu;>rovements In Qltlot B, Rrnn Acres <br />Estates: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that the <br />construction of sanita~ sewer, <br />of OUtlot B, Rum Acres Estates. <br />sewer and water trunks <br /> <br />City has received a petition for the <br />water, storm sewer and streets for Phase I <br />This petition is presum1ng extension of <br />to Outlot B will be approved. <br /> <br />Mr. Jack Miller, develop=r of Outlot B, stated that he understands that he <br />will be responsible for all costs to put this project in motion prlor to <br />the approval of sewer capacity to serve Outlot B. <br /> <br />M:>tion by Councilrrember Cox and seconded by Councilnernber DeLuca to adopt <br />Resolution #88-38 rece~ving p=tition and ordering a feasibility study for <br />public improvements in Outlot B, Rum Acres Estates. (Please refer to <br />resolution fDe for Resolution #88-38) . <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: l-1ayor Reimann, Councilrrembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Hartley referred to the issue between Ramsey and Metro Council <br />regarding gaining adaitional sewer capacity and the density of development <br />in the rural area. Mr. Hartley stated that he would like to present a <br />proposal to Metro Council that would allOW for continuing to develop tne <br />rural area with 2.5 acre minimum lot sizes but with a requirement that <br />lOut, rather than 25%, of the soils be Class A. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to <br />direct City Administrator Hartley to negotiate with Metro Council for <br />additional sewer capacity with the condition that Ramsey continues to <br />develop it I S rural area with 2.5 acre minimum lOt: sizes consisting of 10U% <br />Class A soils. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Cox noted that the motion does not <br />necessarily reflect that the Council agrees with the conditions to gain <br />additional sewer capacity. <br /> <br />City Council/February 24, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 11 of 13 <br /> <br />so <br />
