<br />Chairman Greenberg requested that the Frontage Road Subcommittee attend the <br />January 26 public hearing. <br /> <br />f) Star City Work Program Subcommittee - <br /> <br />Commissioner Gorecki stated that the subcommittee met and discussed the <br />business survey; it appears the commissioners are not going to meet the <br />January 31 deadline for completing their assigned surveys. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Gorecki and seconded by Commissioner Hardin to <br />extend the deadline for completing business surveys (except for those 12 <br />businesses which Yvonne Curan requires information on for the Community <br />Profile and Labor Survey) to February 28. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Chairman Greenberg and Commissioner Ippel noted that <br />some very valuable information is resulting from the business surveys. <br />Commissioner Fults noted that it will only be valuable if it is used and <br />not filed away. Consensus was that after all surveys are completed, the <br />Commission will set a course of action to deal with immediate needs of <br />businesses determined during the surveys. <br /> <br />Motion carried.. Voting Yes: <br />Wagner, Fults, Hardin and <br />Commissioners Kurak, Vevea and <br /> <br />Chairman Greenberg, Commissioners Ippel, <br />Gorecki. Voting No: None. Absent: <br />Muller. <br /> <br />Case #3: Discussion Re~ardin~ Business Surveys: <br /> <br />This issue was discussed during the Star City Work Program Subcommittee <br />) report. <br /> <br />Case #2: Discussion ReVardinv Tax Increment Financin~ Policv: <br /> <br />Ms. Norris noted that the Tax Increment Financing Policy adopted by Council <br />establishes a policy regarding the use of tax increment financing; the <br />figures in the policy area guideline for council and applicant's <br />information and are subject to adjustment. <br /> <br />Case #4: Information Items: <br /> <br />The Commission noted information items contained in the agenda. <br /> <br />Case #5: Reappoint Commission Me~bers: <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Wagner and seconded by Commissioner Hardin to <br />recommend that City Council reappoint Darryl Fults to the Economic <br />Development Commission to a term to expire January 31, 1991. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: <br />Wagner, Fults, Hardin and <br />Commissioners Kurak, Vevea and <br /> <br />Chairman Greenberg, Commissioners Ippel, <br />Gorecki. Voting No: None.
