<br />PROCEEDIN:;S CF CITY COOOCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANa<A CXXJNl'Y <br />STATE OF MINNESaI'A <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, March 22, <br />1988 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilnember Al Sorteberg <br />Councilnernber Steve DeLuca <br />Councilrnembe r Al Pearson <br /> <br />Also Present: City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Community Developnent Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilnernber Arnie Cox <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the regular City Council meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. <br />and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN n;jplJI' <br /> <br />Birdie Rotramel - 8435 l67th Lane N.W. - Stated that last fall she and her <br />neighbors got together to clean Autumn Heights East Park. Since then she <br />has approached the Park Commission requesting City assistance in <br />i1rq?rovements to the park which include a rough ball diamond and parking <br />area and a play area. 'fue neighborhood will continue to do as much of the <br />work and continued maintenance as possible. <br /> <br />Zv'i9.yor Reimann replied that the City will contact Ms. Rotrarnelafter the <br />Park Cormnission1s recorranendation has been reviewed by City Council. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />approve the agenda with the following additions: <br /> <br />Case f.2l: Fire Protection Contracts with the Anoka/Charnolin Fire <br />Departlent and the City of Elk River. <br /> <br />Case #22: Ordinance regulating the issuance of charitable garrbling <br />licenses. <br /> <br />Case #23: Report from Personnel Committee. <br /> <br />City Council/lwlarch 22, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 4 of 17 <br /> <br />b~ <br />
