<br />CASE #1: <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR VARIANCE TO CONSTRUCT AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE <br />IN FRONT OF THE PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE; CASE OF MR. PETER BARTHOLD <br />By: Planning Assistant Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. Peter Barthold is requesting a variance to construct an accessory <br />structure nearer the front lot line than the principal structure at 15710 <br />St. Francis Blvd. The structure is also proposed to exceed the 16 foot <br />height limit for accessory buildings. The applicant has stated that the <br />variance is necessary because the home is set back from the front property <br />line by approximately 700 feet and to build the accessory structure farther <br />back than that would require destroying mature trees.
