<br />i/I'I "'.._.. <br /> <br />March 22, 1988 <br /> <br />TO: Ramsey City Council <br /> <br />FRCM: Anne Norris, Community Developnent Director <br />Bill Goodrich, city Attorney <br /> <br />RE: Additions to Agenda <br /> <br />Please consider the addition of the following cases to the agenda <br />for the March 22, 1988 City Council rreeting. <br /> <br />REOUEST FOR METES AND BClJNDS SUBDIVISION OF ItJr 4, BLOCK 1, <br />VCLTIN'S OAK HILL ESTATES; CASE OF MR. DM.,E VOLTIN <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. Dale Voltin is requesting Council approval of a metes and <br />bounds subdivision of that portion of Lot 4, Block 1, Voltin's <br />Oak Hill Estates lying north of County Ditch #3 from that portion <br />of the lot south of the drainage ditch. This subdivision would <br />create a landlocked parcel. <br /> <br />At the time Voltin's Oak Hill Estates was platted, the City <br />Council stipulated in the development agreement that Lot 4 could <br />not be developed until southerly access Lot 4 was provided by the <br />developer. <br /> <br />Mr. Voltin is now requesting approval of the subdivision of this <br />lot as the owner (Mr. David Schulte) of the southern half of Lot <br />4 also owns the property immediately south which abutts <br />Hall-Anderson Estates and has access from 160th Lane N.W. Mr. <br />Schulte has stated that he would provide to the City a 66 foot <br />wide road easement extending fram l60th Lane N.W. to the southern <br />portion of Lot 4. <br /> <br />For your information, attached are the following items: <br /> <br />a. Site location map <br />b. Proposed subdivision <br /> <br />Reconmendation: <br /> <br />If Mr. Schulte agrees: 1) to provide a 66 foot wide road easement <br />to the City extending from 160th Lane N.W. to the southern <br />portion of Lot 4; and 2) that no building permits shall be issued <br />or subdivision allowed until the road is accepted by the City as <br />a City road, staff recommends that the subdivision be <br />approved . <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Will be based on your discussion. <br />
