All dogs kept, habored, or ~aintained in the City of Ramsey shall be licensed and registered. Applications for licenses shall be made to the City Clerk upon forMS provided by the Clerk. Said application shall require the O~Jner, among other information required by the City Clerk, to supply the name, age, pre'dominant breed. sex, color and markings of each dog sougllt to be licensed. Upon submission of the application and a certificate evidencing compliance with the terms and provisions of City Code ~ection 11 0 . 0 3 14, r e 1 a tin 9 t 0 v a c c i 11 a t ion for r a b i e s, and u p 0 n payment of a fee of SS.OO, the City Clerk shall issue a license, which license shall De effective until the next jlst day of uecember of an even numbert:d year. 110.033 Tags. The license shall be in the form of an identification tag and shall be affixed by the owner to a collar to be worn by the dog. In case a tag is lost or destroyed. a dupl i cate wi 11 be issued by the Ci ty Cl erk upon presentation of a receipt showing payment of the license fee for the current period and payment of $2.00 for such duplicate. Dog tags shall not.. be transferrable froln one dog to another and no refunds shall be ~ade on any dog licens~ fee because of death of the dog or the owners leaving the City prior to expiration of the license period. 110.034 Rabies Vaccination. Every owner or keeper of a dog shall cause tne same to De vaccinated by a licensed veterinary with anti-rabies vaccine at least once in every 24-month period and prior to the time such dog shall reach the age of six (5) loonths. 110.035 ~unningat Large. Every owner or keeper uf a dog shall. cause the same to be under the control of and in custody of a person of sufficient age to adequately con~rol the dog at all times~ vJhile the dog is off the premises of the Ovtner.
