What I said was that we felt the market value of this <br />land was wbrth the $1.15 per square foot-that the Elofsons <br />had a p:-evious purchase agreement for. I also said I did not <br />think .,e should have to ta]-;:e less than this fair marl~et value, <br />~~t I never said ~e wouldn't be ~illina to nec~otiate ~ith the <br />city ,O~ a different value' that ~e could both aaree OD. <br /> <br />I hope this letter lays to rest once and for all the state- <br />ment he keeps making that I said we would not accept less <br />than fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) per acre. I apologize <br />if I did not make myself clear to him on this point.
