The timeframes <br />4 described above shall be permitted up to 12 weeks and may be extended <br />5 in eight -week periods if there have been no sign violations in the past <br />6 year by the entity who erects the sign and if the sign is in good repair. <br />7 This temporary provision expires on December 31, 2025. <br />8 C. Location. Temporary signs must be located fully on private property in which the <br />9 ousiness is located, with the permission of the property owner. The city will re- <br />10 move any signs in the public right-of-way, or erected without permission from the <br />11 property owner. Off -premise temporary signs are only allowed in conjunction with <br />12 a special event permit. <br />13 d. Number. All properties are limited to two temporary signs per parcel. In locations <br />14 where there are multiple businesses on one parcel (a multitenant facility), three <br />15 signs are permitted. <br />16 e. Size. Temporary signs shall be limited to 50 square feet in size. <br />17 f. Height. I-reestanding temporary signs shall not exceed / teet in height, unless <br />18 specifically regulated elsewhere in this section. <br />19 g. Permits and fees. All temporary signs shall be required to obtain a temporary <br />20 sign permit. Exemptions from temporary sign permit. Maintenance. All temporary signs must be securely anchored and maintained in <br />34 good repair, including replacement or removal when weather damage is evident. <br />35 The zoning administrator, or his designee, shall have the authority to identify and <br />36 notify property owners and/or occupants of the parcel on which the temporary <br />37 sign has been determined to be in violation of this Code. Failure to remove or re- <br />38 place the temporary sign within ten days of notification shall be sufficient cause <br />39 for the zoning administrator or his designee to remove said temporary sign. The <br />40 property owner shall be billed for all costs incurred by the city in administering <br />41 this subdivision. <br />42 i. Temporary electronic messaging centers. Temporary electronic messaging cen- <br />43 ters are only permitted in accordance with a special event permit.
