Temporary Highway 10 construction provision (city-wide). The timeframes <br />described above shall be permitted up to 12 weeks and may be extended <br />in eight -week periods if there have been no sign violations in the past <br />year by the entity who erects the sign and if the sign is in good repair. <br />This temporary provision expires on December 31, 2025. <br />c. Location. Temporary signs must be located fully on private property on which the <br />business is locatea, with the permission of the property owner. The city will re- <br />move any signs in the public right-of-way, or erected without permission from the <br />property owner. Off -premise temporary signs are only allowed in conjunction with <br />a special event permit. <br />d. Number. All properties are limited to two temporary signs per parcel. In locations <br />where there are multiple businesses on one parcel (a multitenant facility), three <br />signs are permitted. <br />e. Size. Temporary signs shall be limited to 50 square feet in size. <br />f. Height. Maintenance. All temporary signs must be securely anchored and maintained in <br />good repair, including replacement or removal when weather damage is evident. <br />The zoning administrator, or his designee, shall have the authority to identify and <br />notify property owners and/or occupants of the parcel on which the temporary <br />sign has been determined to be in violation of this Code. Failure to remove or re- <br />place the temporary sign within ten days of notification shall be sufficient cause <br />for the zoning administrator or his designee to remove said temporary sign. The <br />property owner shall be billed for all costs incurred by the city in administering <br />this subdivision. <br />i. Temporary electronic messaging centers. Temporary electronic messaging cen- <br />ters are only permitted in accordance with a special event permit. Permitted tem- <br />porary electronic messaging centers may consist of dynamic display, provided all <br />standards for electronic messaging centers: are complied with. <br />j.
