Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #25-074 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CASH DONATION FOR THE CITY OF RAMSEY'S <br />PARK SYSTEM <br />WHEREAS, MN State Statute 465.03 requires that a city pass a resolution that accepts <br />any donations or grants and <br />WHEREAS, two-thirds majority of the council members must adopt said resolution to <br />formally accept donation; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has received a cash donation from Ramsey <br />resident Raymond Renner in the amount of $500; <br />WHEREAS, the donation will be applied towards the Park Trust Fund and used <br />for adding trees within the park system. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby accepts the donation made by Raymond Renner in <br />the amount of $500. <br />2) That the donation shall be applied to new trees for Ramsey's parks. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />
