Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # 25-073 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING A RENTAL INSPECTIONS PROCEDURES POLICY <br />WHEREAS, the City's Rental Inspections Procedures Policy describes the process, <br />procedures, rights, and responsibilities of a coordinated rental licensing and inspections program <br />that involves city staff, Ramsey residents living in rental housing, and investment owners; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to maintain a balance or resident privacy and <br />ensuring minimum property maintenance standards for its residents and neighbors; and <br />WHEREAS, the City will support State Laws regarding the rights and responsibilities of <br />both residents and property owners; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, that the Rental Inspections <br />Procedures Policy, attached to this resolution, is here by adopted and will be made publicly <br />accessible. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 8th day of April, 2025. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />
