Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #24-013 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR 2024 PAVEMENT <br />REJUVENATION IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #24-09 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey can most cost-effectively maximize the life of the <br />bituminous pavement on public streets by applying pavement rejuvenators; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey adopted budget for 2024 includes $575,000.00 for street <br />maintenance contracted services, including to apply pavement rejuvenator on numerous public street <br />segments in support of the City's Pavement Management Program; and <br />WHEREAS, City Staff has the capacity to prepare plans and specifications for 2024 Pavement <br />Rejuvenation Improvements, Improvement Project #24-09 . <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) The Ramsey City Council hereby orders the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications <br />for 2024 Pavement Rejuvenation Improvements, Improvement Project #24-09. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 9th day of January, 2024. <br />
