5. 10. <br />CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: <br />06/ 11 /2024 <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Enhance City's communication through transparency and accountability. <br />Information <br />Title <br />Adopt Resolution #24-142 Requesting General Election Post -Election Review <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Purpose: The council met to discuss a resolution requesting additional Post -Election Review on May 14 and May <br />28, 2024. Staff was directed to draft a resolution for Council consideration, and if approved, forward to Anoka <br />County Elections requesting additional Post -Election Review for two-thirds of Ramsey precincts after each <br />General Election. The resolution requests the review to include all non judicial races that have more than one <br />candidate. <br />Background: Minnesota Statue 206.89 gives the authority of the Post -Election Review to the Anoka <br />County Auditor.
