Question by Pete Raatikka to Mr. Neary. Has the storm sewer been put in yet? Mr. Neary answered that the storm sewer was not required. Engineer Raatikka is to check on the holding of the performance bond. Mr. Tim Peterson requested a variance pursuant to Section 12.01 of the Ramsey Platting Ordinance 75.5 to waive the requirement of compliance with the platting requirement. Q Motion by Councilman Mickelson, seconded by Councilman Gorham to resolve that the requirements of Section 12.01 of Ramsey Ordinance No. 75-5 be waived for the following described property: The North 200 feet of the South 233 feet of the West 200 feet of the East 1,146 feet of the SE1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 27, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County. Carri ed 5 to O. . Land South of 175th and Variolite. Mayor Cox voiced concern from the people that live in this area regarding large groups of people gathering. They might cause fires etc. Mr. Walker to contact the police to disperse and control the activity in the area. Minutes of the May 10th Regular meeting. Discussion took place. Motion by Councilman Reimann, seconded by Councilwoman Oliphant to approve the minutes of the May 10th Regular meeting ~ith the following corrections. Page 3, fee for board of adjustment, Oliphant voted naye. Page 4 to include in first paragraph that the Council will consider Tim Paquette's status as an employee of the City on July 1st. Al so meeting adjourned at 1 :00 a.m., instead of 1 :00 p.m. Page 3 to include that Mr. John Schutz stated that the carport will not be a garage. Carried 5 to 0 Minutes of the Special meeting, May 18, 1976 Mayor Cox read the Resolution No. 10, as adopted at the Special meeting. Motion by Councilwoman Oliphant, seconded by Councilman Gorham to approve the minutes of the May 18th Special meeting. Carried 5 to 0 Reports Building Department - report read and noted. The Board of Review will reconvene at 7:00 p.m. on June 7, 1976. Park & Recreation Report - read and noted, on file. Police Department Report - read and noted, on file. Street Department Report - read and noted, on file. City Flag. Mr. Walker to check on the status of the City's flag. Special Election. Motion by Councilwoman Oliphant, seconded by Councilman Gorham to hold a special election on June 15, 1976, to issue $225,000 of General Obligation Bonds for the specific purpose to construct a municipal building to house the City Administrative Offices, Council Chambers and the Police Department. . Carried 5 to 0 Resolution No. 11. Motion by Councilwoman Oliphant, seconded by Councilman Gorham to adopt Resolution No. 11, approving th~final plat of Riverside West. ~., Carried 5 to 0 c', -;Po / Motion by Councilwoman Oliphant to send Mr. Walker to the League of Minnesota MUhicipalities Annual Convention. Motion died - no second Mr. Walker to send a copy of the letter requesting deferment of the landfill license renewal to the Environmental Services Committee and a copy to the Board of Commissions of Anoka County.
