<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:

<br />RESOLUTION #25-070
<br />
<br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR SORTEBERG’S
<br />STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #25-06
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Sorteberg’s
<br />Subdivision as identified within the 2025 – 2034 Capital Improvement Plan; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-198, adopted July 23, 2024, the
<br />City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Hakanson Anderson for topographic survey of the
<br />project area in the amount of $2,560.00; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-220, adopted August 12, 2024, the
<br />City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, Inc. for a
<br />geotechnical report of the project area in the amount of $4,140.00; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-341, adopted November 26, 2024,
<br />the City Council order the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for Sorteberg’s Street
<br />Reconstructions, Improvement Project #25-06; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #25-043, adopted February 25, 2025,
<br />the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer and authorized
<br />advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, proposals were received for Construction Staking and As-built Survey of $8,800.00
<br />from Hakanson Anderson for said improvements; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald on Friday February 28 and Friday
<br />March 7, 2025; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, ten (10) bids were received, opened and tabulated on Monday March 31, 2025, and
<br />the following bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for
<br />bids; and
<br />

<br />WHEREAS, the bid of Park Construction Company in the amount of $423,698.35 for the total bid
<br />for construction of the improvements in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and
<br />advertisement for bids, is the lowest responsible bidder and their bid shall be and hereby is accepted.
