Enclosure (1) lists the overtime hours performed by the Ramsey Chief of <br />Police and the Ramsey Police Officers. <br /> <br />2. Enclosure (2) contains a letter from Farmer's Insurance Group forwarding <br />a check in the amount of $2,896.89 to cover the following cost items that <br />Ramsey had requested reimbursement on because of the injuries Officer Gustafson <br />sustained by the hit and run incident: <br /> <br />a. $ 264.50 <br />b. 2,569.49 <br />c. 62.90 <br /> <br />$2,896.89 <br /> <br />Medical expense <br />Overtime expense <br />Uniform damages <br /> <br />Total reimbursement <br /> <br />NOTE: $976.00 in worker's compensation wage benefits paid to Officer Gustafson <br />were not reimbursed because this had not been a direct City expense. <br /> <br />3. Enclosure (3) contains the Police Chief's thoughts about getting paid for the <br />services he rendered during that period of time Officer Gustafson was recovering <br />from injuries sustained after the hit and run accident. <br /> <br />4. Enclosure (4) contains the City Attorney's legal opinion in regards to the <br />paying of the Police Chief's overtime in this specific situation. <br /> <br /> <br />
