We're Hiring! <br />Seasonal Maintenance Workers <br />Salary: $16.00 Hourly <br />Closing Date: Open Until Filed <br />The primary objectives of this position: to maintain <br />streets, parks, trails and facilities through tasks like mowing, <br />trimming, pruning, planting trees, landscaping, maintaining <br />athletic fields, picking up trash and assisting with street and <br />utility maintenance. <br />These temporary, non -union positions offer up to 40 <br />hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to <br />3:30 p.m., starting in May or June and extending through <br />the fall, depending on workload and Minnesota PELRA <br />guidelines. Applicants must be at least 17 years old by the <br />start date and possess a valid Minnesota driver's license. <br />Starting pay is $16.00/hour and interviews will be held <br />weekly until positions are filled. <br />Community Service Officer <br />Salary: $23.05 Hourly <br />Closing Date: May 4, 2025 <br />To perform a variety of non -sworn law enforcement <br />support duties for the Ramsey Police Department. This <br />position provides cost-effective public safety and superior <br />customer service while p:1fv 'ng regularly scheduled <br />community service work. It also assists with high priority <br />unanticipated calls for service, and with public protection <br />and crime prevention. <br />Conditions of Employment: This internship is limited <br />to no more than five years, or one-year POST eligibility, <br />whichever comes first. <br />This is a 25-hour per week AFSCME union, uniformed, <br />non -sworn paid and benefit eligible internship. The position <br />is covered by Public Employees Retirement Association <br />(PERA) and ancillary benefits are available. The position <br />reports to the Police Sergeant. <br />Successful applicants must have at least an Associate's <br />degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement or equivalent <br />qualifications meeting the state of Minnesota's requirements <br />to become an Officer. <br />The 2025 salary range per hour for this position is: <br />$37.786 to $48.443. <br />The 2025 longevity range per hour for this position is: <br />After 5: $49.412 - After 8: $50.381 - After 12: $51.350 - <br />After 16: $52.318. <br />This is a full-time LELS Patrol union position. <br />Water Resources Technician <br />Salary: $36.18 - $39.80 Hourly <br />Closing Date: April 27, 2025 <br />The Water Resources Technician is responsible for <br />supporting the effective management, protection and <br />enhancement of the City's water resources in accordance <br />with federal, state and local regulations. This position <br />plays a key role in administering the City's Municipal <br />Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) program, Stormwater <br />Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP) and Surface Water <br />Management Plan (SWMP), while also contributing to <br />related water resource initiatives. The role requires technical <br />expertise, a comprehensive understanding of regulatory <br />frameworks, strong analytical and communication skills and <br />a commitment to public engagement.
