Walker <br />Engineer Raatikka <br /> <br />Mayor Cox called the meeting to order at 1:30 P.M. <br />Allegiance to the Flag led by Mayor Cox. <br />seconded by Oliphant <br /> <br />Citizen Input. Mrs. Jean S,chluter directed a question on <br />the cutting down of the trees adjacent to l53rd Street. She <br />wanted to know why they were being cut down. Mr. Walker <br />answered stating that the trees being cut down were dead and <br />needed cutting down and also the street will be improved in <br />the future and the trees are in the easement area. <br />No other citizen input. <br /> <br />Approval of the minutes of the public hearing on February 9, 1976. <br />Motion by Reimann seconded by Mickelson to approve the minutes <br />of the public hearing of February 9, 1976, with the following <br />corrections. 1st paragraph, the Mayor stated that all people <br />should speak distinctly and correctly, John Schutz's name <br />appeared misspelled in various places and stands corrected. <br />3rd paragraph, Page 3, the word areas should be changed to <br />incentives. 11th pa:fagraph~ Page 3, after for the benefit of <br />the citizens, to know when, should be included. 4th paragraph, <br />Page 4, the words - and Isanti and Sherburne Counties should <br />be included. 9th paragraph, Page 4, Councilman Gorham's comments <br />should read, he is not in favor of a plan such as this. <br /> <br />o~ comments should be disregarded. <br /> <br />by Mickelson to approve the minutes <br />hearing with the corrections as <br /> <br />5 to 0 <br /> <br />r .,'.". ~ " , <br />.;;"":::'..~""',':_;::'" <br /> <br />Approval of the minutes of the March 8th regular meeting. <br />I'Qreferencetothe Building Committee Report, the reference <br />.
