Police Departmen t Clerk-Treasurer Walker reported that the total man hours for the month of February were 138% and 67 calls were answered and the City received $351.50 for February as their share of the fines . Street Departtnent Clerk-Treasurer Walker reported that the Street Department worked on snow removal, shop work, cut dead trees along l53rd and were presently grading roads and pumping excess water from low areas. Park Department Clerk-Treasurer Walker reported that Tim Paquette, the Park and Recreation Coordinator has completed all schematic plans of parkland, all department files are updated, designated areas for tree planting has been firmed up and the 4-H group will assist on the -project during April. Plans for a summer baseball and softball league are in the making. Registration for the summer program will begin soon. The park-school agree- ment is currently being investigated. . Mr. Paquette also worked with the Street Department plowing snow and cutting trees. Personnel Coi:n:mittee , The minutes of the Personnel Committee were read and noted. The Committee expressed that their last meeting with employees was very successful. A letter from the Deputy Clerk-Treasurer, Arlene Peddycoart requesting reconsideration of her resignation was read. Motion by Reimann seconded by Oliphant that the City of Ramsey continue Arlene Peddycoart's employment with the date of hiring and the same conditions as the original motion' to hire her which occurred on November 10, 1975. This motion supercedes the motion to accept her letter of 'resignation which occurred on March 8, 1976. Carried. 5 to 0 Letter of Resignation. The Committee read the letter of resignation by Building Official, Robert Casper effective April 23rd. Motion by Gorham seconded by Reimann to accept the letter of resignation by Mr. Casper aS,of April 23, 1976. Carried. 5 to 0 Motion by Reimann seconded by Mickelson to authorize Clerk- Treasurer Walker to advertise for a building inspector and assessor. Carried. 5 to 0 The City Council extended its appreciation to Mr. Casper for his job performance and designated Mr. Walker to write a letter to Mr. Casper expressing this. BUildin~ Department Report 15 buil ing permits were Issued for a 86 inspections were made. Councilman Mr. Casper should itemize his mileage valuation of $525,800.00.
