No action at this time. <br /> <br />Reports. <br /> <br />Police Departmen t <br />Clerk-Treasurer Walker reported that the total man hours for <br />the month of February were 138% and 67 calls were answered <br />and the City received $351.50 for February as their share of <br />the fines . <br /> <br />Street Departtnent <br />Clerk-Treasurer Walker reported that the Street Department <br />worked on snow removal, shop work, cut dead trees along <br />l53rd and were presently grading roads and pumping excess <br />water from low areas. <br /> <br />Park Department <br />Clerk-Treasurer Walker reported that Tim Paquette, the <br />Park and Recreation Coordinator has completed all schematic <br />plans of parkland, all department files are updated, designated <br />areas for tree planting has been firmed up and the 4-H group <br />will assist on the -project during April. Plans for a summer <br />baseball and softball league are in the making. Registration <br />for the summer program will begin soon. The park-school agree- <br />ment is currently being investigated. . Mr. Paquette also <br />worked with the Street Department plowing snow and cutting <br />trees. <br /> <br />Personnel Coi:n:mittee <br />, The minutes of the Personnel Committee were read and noted. <br />The Committee expressed that their last meeting with employees <br />was very successful. A letter from the Deputy Clerk-Treasurer, <br />Arlene Peddycoart requesting reconsideration of her resignation <br />was read. <br /> <br />Motion by Reimann seconded by Oliphant that the City of Ramsey <br />continue Arlene Peddycoart's employment with the date of <br />hiring and the same conditions as the original motion' to hire <br />her which occurred on November 10, 1975. This motion supercedes <br />the motion to accept her letter of 'resignation which occurred <br />on March 8, 1976. Carried. <br />5 to 0 <br /> <br />Letter of Resignation. The Committee read the letter of <br />resignation by Building Official, Robert Casper effective <br />April 23rd. <br /> <br />Motion by Gorham seconded by Reimann to accept the letter <br />of resignation by Mr. Casper aS,of April 23, 1976. Carried. <br />5 to 0 <br /> <br />Motion by Reimann seconded by Mickelson to authorize Clerk- <br />Treasurer Walker to advertise for a building inspector and <br />assessor. Carried. <br /> <br />5 to 0 <br /> <br />The City Council extended its appreciation to Mr. Casper for <br />his job performance and designated Mr. Walker to write a letter <br />to Mr. Casper expressing this. <br /> <br />BUildin~ Department Report <br />15 buil ing permits were Issued for a <br />86 inspections were made.
