Block 4, Lots 2, 3,4,5; Block 6, Lots 1, 2, ~, 4; <br />Block 5, Lots 3 and 4 Klemish Addition. <br /> <br />Mr. Klemish said the Planning & Zoning Commission turned his request down <br />because of what is going to happen in the southeast corner of the ~ity. He <br />feels there should be small bu~iness areas even with that area. <br /> <br />Discussion was held and Council referred his request back to the Planning <br />Commission for further review. <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Robert Casper, assessing procedure for the City of Ramsey. <br />Mr. Casper spoke on the proced4re used for assessing homes and property. He <br />gave an example of how he arrives at the market value figure of property. <br /> <br />Evaluation of City Personnel. <br />Mayor Cox called a special mee~ing to discuss this matter further to be held <br />Tuesday, March 9, 1976 at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Slides on Oak Wilt. <br />Mr. Bruce Bacon gave a presentation of slides on Oak Wilt. He shOwed several <br />slides including aerial views of oak wilt evident in the City. He explained <br />what oak wilt looked like and what is being done presently to prevent its spread. <br /> <br />Councilman Mickelson arrived at 9:35 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />Buil di ng Committee Report. <br /> <br />Mr. Bob Muller and Dennis Anderson of the Ramsey Bui ldingCommi ttee and Mr. Boarman <br />of Cerny Associates presepted to the Council preliminary drawings of the building <br />site and the best utilization of the site for the new city hall building. There <br />were five different basic locations. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox asked for the consensus of the Council on the site drawing which had <br />the buffering indicated on it between the municipal center and the residential <br />area. Councilmen Gorham, Mickelson~ Reimann and Mayor Cox were in favor of this <br />pa;ticular drawing. . . <br /> <br />Anoka County Library. . <br />Mr. Walker read the response frpm the Anoka County Library in regard to Council's <br />request for information on what plans there maybe for a future library in Ramsey. <br />Mayor Cox directed Mr. Walker tp cOl1tract Mr. Young- of the Anoka County Library <br />for a meeting with Council in r~gard to this'matter. <br /> <br />Pickup truck bids. <br />Four quotes for the pickup were received: <br />LeTendre Pontiac <br />Main Motor Sales Company <br />Art Goebel Ford <br />Brooklyn/American <br /> <br />$4,359.80 <br />4,405.00 <br />4,355.00 (lowest quotatiqn) <br />4,393.96 <br /> <br />Motion by Gorham, seconded by Mickelson to accept the bid from Art 40ebel Ford <br />for a 3/4 ton pickup for $4,355.00. Carried. <br />5 to 0 <br /> <br />...,!, <br /> <br />Letter from Dr. Ronald Jankowski Offering his assistance as Health qfficer for <br />the City. <br /> <br />Motion by Mickelson, seconded by 011phant to appoint Dr. Ronald J. Janko~ski as <br />Health Officer for the City of Rams~y. Carried. <br />5 to 0 <br />I . <br />
