Clerk-Treasurer vlalker read a cost analysis of Blaine Midway's costs for Ham Lak~,~~ndover and East Bethel for December and Mr. Walton's costs fo~ the month of December. Councilman Reimann said one month is not much to base a decision on. He added, that he had asked for a report on entire costs for the year on licenses, fines for a true and correct picture. Clerk-Treasurer Walker retorted that fines and licenses had nothing to do with cost of doC catcher. Councilman Gorham asked if Council feels the protection of the dog catcher for the City of Ramsey has been adequate in the past. Motion by Gorham, seconded by Reimann to hire Doue Walton as dog catcher for the City of Ramsey for the period of one year. 4 Ayes Oliphant Haye . ITei: Business Clerk-Treasurer VJalker presented information on Anoka' s desire to sell the landfill. Mayor Cox commented that the City Vias to receive information by January 30th as to exactly what is intended of us. There is rumor at P.C.A., Federal and State offices that this landfill is to be closed up, basing this on this Council's decision and the Eayor said he is sure it v,Tas,not. by comments from the City. He said that if the landfill is contaminating, he is concerned that the City of Ramsey will not be blamed for anything up to this point. Attorney Goodrich said anything that has occurred up to nov:, the present ol-mers ';{Quld he liable for. Attorney Goodrich's Report Attorney Gooc;rich reminded members that the Urban Planning joint meeting v{i th Planning & Zoning and Council i.dll be held on February 2, 1976. Citizens may still submit written comments however the deadline for this will be soon. He said strives have been made to get input from Planning Commission, Council and public. The subdivision ordinance will then be rewritten to implement plan as presented. Then a public hearing will be required on the new ordinance. I/Iayor Cox asked if it '\:,'ould be proper to have a public hearing for citizen input prior tothe adoption of the ordinance.
