We are currently preparing our <br />requalification for federal fiscal years 2026 through 2028; and the county is required to notify participating <br />communities of their option to be excluded from Anoka County's "Urban County" funding cycles for the <br />next three years. The city's options are: <br />If you choose to OPT^INscdremrs(-a participant with Anoka County, the following will apply: <br />w The grant process for your city will remain the same as it is now for,CDBG and HOME programs; <br />AND <br />w Your city will continua to be ineligible to apply for individual grants through the HUD Small Cities or <br />Sia1eCDBG and HOME programs; AND <br />* The current Cooperation Agreement will automatically renew for another three-year period <br />If you choose to OPT -OUT and NOT remain sparticipant with Anoka County, the following will <br />apply. <br />w Your city will be able to apply for grants individually through the HUD Small Cities o,r State CDBG <br />and HOME programs, BUT you will not be eligible to receive funds through Anoka County for <br />federal fiscal years 2O28through 2O28;AND <br />w If you elect to be excluded, this will be effective for the entire 3-year period for which Anoka County <br />qualifies unless you specifically elect to be included in a subsequent year for the remainder of the <br />county's 3-year qualification period. <br />Respectful, Innovative, Fiscally Responsible <br />Government Center A 21OOTdAvenue, Ste 7OO ^ Anoka, PIN 553O3-5024 A vwmw.anokacountYmn.gov <br />EQUAL HOUSING <br />OPPORTUNITY <br />Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity Employer <br />
