<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #25-111 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REPLACEMENT OF 2009 JETTER-VACUUM <br />COMBINATION TRUCK, PW UNIT #673 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the adopted 2025 - 2034 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) includes <br />a 2026 capital equipment request to replace the 2009 Jetter-Vacuum Truck, PW Unit #673, <br />at an estimated cost of $850,000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, if a replacement for PW Unit #673 is ordered by May 31, 2025, the <br />city will save $72,417 off the cost of a replacement truck ordered in 2026; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council authorization is requested to advance order a replacement <br />jetter-vacuum combination truck in 2025 by signing a letter of intent by May 31, 2025. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Engineer/Public Works Director to <br /> <br />order a replacement jetter-vacuum combination truck for PW Unit #673 by May 31, <br />2025, for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Heineman <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Buscher <br /> Councilmember Peters <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Stewart <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br />Resolution #25-111 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
