Seven ash
trees were previously removed from this location due to
Emerald Ash Borer (EAB). The replanting of six Sunburst
Honeylocusts represented Ramsey's kick-offtoreplacing
lost canopy cover due to EAB.
Volunteers rolled up their sleeves to dig, plant and
care for our urban canopy —and we're so grateful for
the time and energy you contributed. We had so much
fun seeing families involved. While parents helped with
the planting, kids enjoyed time outdoors and a planting
activity of their own —decorating planters and growing
edible microgreens to bring home.
Information about EAB can be found at
www.citvoframsev.com/282.
GARAGE S
MAY 15-17
THURSDAY I FRIDAY I SATURDAY
More information and
the interactive map
can be found at
cityoframsey.com/941
CITY OF RAMSEY City UPDATE May 16, 2025
2
