AND CSAH 57 (SUNFISH LAKE BLVD.) OVER T.H. 10 AND BNSF RAILWAY IN ANOKA AND RAMSEY. Description: Mississippi River Outfall Removal Explanation: Issue The plan includes the existing pipe draining to the South at Structure 5300, towards the Mississippi River, to be abandoned, taking the outfall to the Mississippi offline at this location. However, the plans do not include the remaining storm sewer run to the River and outfall structure to be removed. Resolution Per the direction of the City of Ramsey with concurrence from Anoka County the existing storm sewer run from drainage structure 5300 to the existing river outfall will be removed. The Contractor will provide all labor, equipment and material to remove the existing storm sewer run and river outfall as well as restoration of the disturbed area including curb & gutter, bit paving, and turf establishment. Entitlement The Engineer and Anoka County have determined the contract needs to be revised in accordance with MnDOT Specification 1402.5 Extra Work. Impact The Contractor will perform the storm sewer and outfall removal and restore the disturbed area within NPDES timelines and prior to the Stage 3 open to traffic date of October 15, 2025. This change order covers the known and anticipated costs and contract time adjustment (if any) attributable to the work covered by this Change Order. If the Contractor incurs unknown and unanticipated additional work that affects costs or impacts the critical path, the contractor reserves the right to request an adjustment to the contract amount or contract time in accordance with MNDOT 1402. Cost The Engineer and Anoka County have reviewed and approve of the cost associated with this Change. Payment Payment for the storm sewer removal, structure removal and all restoration will be made at contract unit prices and negotiated unit prices.
